Taspinar Genuine Old Vintage

A unique, old vintage, authentic, handknotted carpet before fifty years in the village of Taspinar in Cappadokia. Taspinar is in the Anatolian plateau, just next of mountain Hasan in 1050mtr. altitude. The citizens of Taspinar came from Ajerbayzan before five centuries. The main economy activity is handmade rugs. Taspinar carpets are especially famous for their high knotting density. This organic vintage carpet is hand produced using the old traditional methods, which are not existing for the last twenty years. The current production is using industrial yarns involving chemistry to decrease the cost. On the contrary, this authentic handknotted carpet, with the individual classical Taspinar pattern and the traditional colors, is still a piece representing the authentic traditional ethnic art. An affordable handknotted carpet, special for high level minimal decoration, as the necessary touch of old tradition to be upgraded.
